How much Provigil is considered dangerous and for how long?
I have MS, and for many years have been on 400 mg daily of Provigil and 60 mg daily of Adderall for extreme chronic fatigue. Problem is, somehow (don’t ask…I’ve researched every logical and illogical cause), 11 days of my Adderall "dissappeared." Poof! Gone. Well, I had an "emergency" paper Rx that I tried to take to the pharmacy….but they won’t fill it because my insurance says I can’t have refilled until the 11 days are up. This is day 3 now without it. I can’t stop falling asleep at work. I JUST got off short term disability and pulled my "ADA" card to get a schedule change to help with my tendency to fall asleep at work (am a home transcriptionist). So….is 600 mg Provigil dangerous, and more specifically, would it be for 8-9 days only? Any other stimulant suggestions? (Which may be moot b/c of all of my drugs and their interactions…but I’m willing to hear anything…) Thanks…
Angela–you rock! That was FAST…and great info. I will check with my pharmacy to see if they would do that. Another question: because the price is prohibitive (even generic)…do you think the pharmacy would fill 1/2 the Rx??
