Neat features: lets you use whatever blister card and vial you choose (doesn’t force you to use one particular manufacturer’s card). This could be a real business marketing tool. Imagine a pharmacy offering to do you prescriptions to blister cards instead of vials (so you’d know if you took your pill or not). Nobody is doing that now (it’s too labor intensive to manually fill prescriptions that way). But whoever has one of these machines could do what the other pharmacies can’t. And that would actually cause patients to leave one of those other pharmacies to get their prescriptions filled to blister cards.
